MPSU partners with Maximo B. Dalog Foundation for mother-child care initiative; extend training to healthcare providers, mothers in Brgy. Alab


The University, through its School of Healthcare Education and the Research Development and Extension Services, in partnership with the Maximo B. Dalog Foundation, conducted an extension activity on Dual Training Approach for Early Detection of Postpartum Depression and Infant Massage Therapy from 07-08 September 2024 at Barangay Alab, Bontoc, MP.

Anchored to SDGs 3, 8, 11, and 17, the said activity is a holistic approach to postpartum care, addressing the mental health of mothers and the physical and emotional development of infants while equipping healthcare providers with the necessary skills and knowledge for better health outcomes for both mothers and babies.

This is also a manifestation of the continuous efforts of the University and its partner agencies in extending support and services to the community.
