
To acknowledge the previous achievements of Mountain Province State Polytechnic College (MPSPC), President Dr. Edgar G. Cue awarded certificates of recognition to competent employees and outstanding students for winning places in various events attended and conducted by the institution, which exemplified their performance and dedication that brought honor to the institution during the flag-raising ceremony earlier today, August 12.
MPSPC, as one of the members of the Philippines-Canada Education Consortium (PhilCanEDUCON) Magic 7+, extends its congratulations through certificates of recognition to the two (2) representatives of the college, namely, Mr. Jephunneh Bel R. Anengyao and Mr. Jethro Mark D.C. Abad, for bringing home the BRONZE award during the 2024 Philippine Culinary Cup: Philippines-Canada Young Chefs Team Challenge held at SMX Convention Center, Pasay City on August 2, 2024.
Afterwards, the college also commends its Reserve Officers Training Corps (ROTC) athletes for winning 8th place among 45 schools in the ArmyโLuzon Leg during the ROTC Games 2024 held at Cavite State University on July 28, 2024. MPSPC obtained three (3) gold medals, thirteen (13) bronze medals, two (2) silver medals, and five (5) national qualifiers.
Meanwhile, certificates of recognition were also awarded to the employees who won places during the Association of State Colleges and Universities-Solid North (ASCU-SN) 2024 Mid-year Sports and Socio-Cultural Festival held at the Isabela State University from July 1โ5, 2023.
Following this, the results of the 2024 MPSPC Agency In-House Review were announced, and certificates of recognition were presented to the employees whose research studies clinched places. Notably, there are fourteen (14) out of thirty-three (33) research studies by MPSPC researchers were qualified for the Regional Symposium on October 14โ17, 2024, at Benguet State University.
Accompanying President Cue in awarding the certificates were Vice President for Administration and Finance Mr. Reynaldo P. Gayo, Jr. , Vice President for Research, Development and Extension Dr. Epiphania B. Magwilang, and Bontoc Campus Director Dr. Arel B. Sia-ed.
