
To conclude the weeklong student orientation MPSPC – Bontoc Campus, College President Dr. Edgar G. Cue touched the hearts of students under the School of Accountancy, Business Education, Information Technology, and School of International Hospitality and Sustainable Tourism Management with his words of encouragement at the College Auditorium today, August 15.
In his message, he applauded the importance of having parent figure in the lives of every student, thus urging everyone to be grateful and appreciate their parents. “Parents are parents; they love you dearly. Kung anong kayang ibibigay ng parents, huwag pilitin ang parents na magdagdag, and it is always nice to say thank you. You should be thankful and grateful, kasi adda pay ti parents yo,” President Cue stated.
He also shared several tips that will help the students cope with their academic demands. One of these is practicing “BPT,” or “Biological Prime Time.” According to Cue, this is the best time of the day of the student’s 24 hours in a day to study his or her lesson at his or her best and most convenient time of the day to grasp the ideas and knowledge effectively in his or her subjects.
Said orientation conducted to inform the freshmen and transferee students on the policy and guidelines as well as the different services of the college that they can avail.
