University President Dr. Edgar G. Cue spearheaded the turnover of research project outputs to the communities through the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Bontoc during a ceremony at the Coffee & Lemon Café Hall, Samoki, Bontoc, MP, on July 4, 2024.
The said project outputs stem from the ‘Project Safe & Secure Water Supply for Mountain Indigenous Communities’ of Mountain Province State Polytechnic College (MPSPC) which was funded by the Department of Science & Technology (DOST) through the National Research Council of the Philippines.
“These technologies cannot be fully realized if they are constrained within the confines of the academic institution. There is a need for the transference of these to the wider community so that it can TRANSFORM lives and FOSTERS sustainable development. That is our VISION,” said Cue.
