Bontoc, Mountain Province – In celebration of National Environmental Awareness Month, Mountain Province State University (MPSU), through its National Service Training Program (NSTP) in collaboration with the Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office – Mountain Province (PENRO-MP), is conducting an activity titled โ€œGo Green, Stay Green: An Environmental Protection Response,โ€ which is being held at the University Auditorium today, November 9.

In his message, MPSU President Dr. Edgar G. Cue, represented by Bontoc Campus Director Dr. Arel B. Sia-ed, stressed the importance of environmental sustainability to the NSTP students while urging them to become advocates for a clean and green environment.

Notable speakers from PENRO include Ecosystems Management Specialist I Mr. Ralff Halley B. Marrero, EMS II/PEMU Mountain Province Ms. Maureen F. Menguria, and Records Officer Ms. Jenalyn G. Calawen. They are accompanied by Ms. Maybel B. Sacyaten, Ms. Karin Joy C. Ollos, and Ms. Flora Mae A. Apos.

The same activity will be conducted on November 16, 2024, for the second batch of NSTP students.
