November 20, 2025- Mountain Province State University (MPSU) reaffirmed its commitment to holistic student development as it hosted the Social Orientation (SOC-OR) Fine Dining activity today at Coffee and Lemon Cafe, JBA Bldg., Samoki, Bontoc.

Under the theme โ€œDine and Discover: The Profound Influence of Social Orientation on Personal and Professional Journey,โ€ the event highlighted the universityโ€™s continuous efforts to integrate values formation, cultural appreciation, and real-world readiness into the student experience.

University President Dr. Edgar G. Cue, represented by Dean of the College of International Hospitality and Sustainable Tourism Management Dr. Karen B. Cue, delivered an inspiring message.

“This social orientation is a foundation, an anchor that helps you understand yourselves, your values, your identity, your culture, and your place in society,” he said.

Bureau of Fire Protection-Bontoc Fire Marshal Fire Inspector Calvin B. Mondero, represented by SFO1 Albert Anongos, graced the event with another inspirational message.

The fine dining program is designed to immerse students in formal dining etiquette. Beyond the technicalities of table manners, the experience highlighted the importance of confidence, poise, and situational awareness.
