
𝐌𝐀𝐁𝐔𝐇𝐀𝐘 𝐏𝐀𝐒𝐀𝐒𝐀𝐋𝐀𝐌𝐀𝐓 || Mountain Province State University paid tribute and appreciation for the retirement day of Dr. Mary D. Toyokan and Ms. Edna K. Engngeg as they conclude their service at Mountain Province State University on November 19, 2025 at the Admin Lobby, MPSU Bontoc, Bontoc, MP.
Dr. Toyokan has been serving as the Dentist of the university for 16 years, while Ms. Engngeg has been at the university for 10 years as an Administrative Aide.
The tribute was made even more memorable with heartfelt performances by their families, colleagues and friends.
Meanwhile, University President Dr. Edgar G. Cue delivered messages of gratitude and appreciation to the retirees through VP for Internationalization, Planning, and Information Management Atty. Dexter C. Lingbanan.
“To our retirees, Ma’am Mary Toyokan and Ma’am Edna Engngeg, we say this from the bottom of our hearts: THANK YOU. Thank you because you are one of the reasons why our students and staff smile comfortably with their healthy gums and why our campus maintains its conducive, clean and safe environment for us your fellow employees.”, he said.
Dr. Cue also wished them the best of luck in their future endeavors.
“As you now enter the new chapter of your life, we hope that your heart is filled with joy and pride. Retirement is not the end, it is the beginning of more mornings without rush, more time with loved ones, more hobbies rediscovered, and more moments to simply enjoy life. You have given so much to MPSU; now it is your turn to receive the gift of rest, peace, and happiness.”, he added.
Joining the tribute were VP for Administration and Finance Mr. Reynaldo P. Gayo Jr., VP for Academic Affairs Dr. Geraldine L. Madjaco, MPSU personnel and staff, colleagues, families, and friends.#
