University President Dr. Edgar G. Cue through VP for Innovation, Research, Development, Publication and Extension Dr. Epiphania B. Magwilang, graced the University Research Excellence Workshop 2.0 at the Admin Conference Hall, MPSU, Bontoc today, December 1,2025.
In his message, President Cue emphasized the significance of the event.
โThis workshop is special because it continues the momentum we built last July during our first Scopus-related activity, where we explored the landscape of world university rankings and improved our institutional strategies for Scopus publications. That foundational work has brought us to this second phase which will be focusing on sustainable research visibility and futures thinking so we can remain responsive to the rapidly changing global environment.โ, he said.
He also expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the resource speakers, guests, faculty and researchers, for their perseverance and commitment shaping a research environment where excellence, innovation, and purpose thrive.
Said eventโs resource speakers are Chief Scientific Officer of Global Health Focus (GHF) University Excellence Professor Dr. Don Eliseo Lucero-Prisno III, National Program Manager GHF University Excellence Mr. Christian Joseph Ong, and National Program Assistant GHF University Excellence Mr. Jerico B. Ogaya.
