University President Dr. Edgar G. Cue awarded tokens of appreciation to the Student Cultural Arts Group (SCAG) at the Board Room, Admin Bldg., Bontoc, MP., today, December 12, 2025.
The tokens of appreciation symbolize the universityโs acknowledgment of SCAGโs continuous efforts to keep traditional dances alive, especially in activities such as convocations, ceremonies, conferences, and university-wide celebrations. Their performances have become an anticipated highlight at MPSU functions, showcasing authentic choreography, indigenous attire, and the cultural stories embedded in local dances.
SCAG representatives expressed their gratitude to President Cue for the recognition, affirming their commitment to promoting local culture within and beyond the campus.
