As part of the 2025 18-day campaign to end Violence Against Women and Children, MPSU, through its Gender and Development Office (GAD), conducted an activity titled โEmpowering Youth Leaders on VAWC Awareness, Rights and Mental Wellbeing,โ held at the University Admin Hall today, December 5, 2025.
University President Dr. Edgar G. Cue, represented by Ms. Rose Ann Cayabas, Psychometrician, opened the activity with an inspirational message.
โLet us make this 18-Day Campaign a commitment to build a community where dignity is honored, rights are upheld, and no woman or child lives in fear,โ Dr. Cue stressed in his message.
Said activity was participated in by student leaders, including the Supreme Student Council (SSC) officers and departmental officers.
The event concluded with a solemn yet empowering moment as the participating students stood together to recite the Vow to End VAW. Their collective pledge symbolized not just the end of the activity but the beginning of a strengthened commitment to uphold dignity, equality, and respect within the university community.
