𝗘𝗫𝗧𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗘𝗘𝗥 𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧 𝗧𝗢 𝗦𝗧𝗨𝗗𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗦|| 𝗠𝗣𝗦𝗨 𝗲𝘅𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗠𝗣𝗚𝗖𝗛𝗦 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀

In a recent initiative to support youth career development, the Office of Guidance and Counseling, represented by Psychometrician and Registered Psychologist Ms. Araceli A. Ronquillo and the Happiness Center represented by Ms.Rose Ann N. Cayabas, Psychometrician, joined Mountain Province General Comprehensive High School’s “Career Awareness Week” on 25 February 2026. The program aimed to equip Grade 10 and Grade 12 students with practical insights and professional advice to aid their career decision-making.

The event featured two sessions tailored for each grade level, where Ms. Ronquillo administered psychological assessments to evaluate students’ career readiness and interests. She then helped students interpret their results and emphasized the role of self-awareness and self-efficacy in making informed career choices. The sessions also included engaging icebreaker activities to encourage participation.

This outreach not only benefited the students but also strengthened the University’s ties with the local community, underscoring its dedication to supporting educational and career development in the province.
