In a recent initiative to support youth career development, the Office of Guidance and Counseling, represented by Psychometrician and Registered Psychologist Ms. Araceli A. Ronquillo and the Happiness Center represented by Ms.Rose Ann N. Cayabas, Psychometrician, joined Mountain Province General Comprehensive High Schoolโs โCareer Awareness Weekโ on 25 February 2026. The program aimed to equip Grade 10 and Grade 12 students with practical insights and professional advice to aid their career decision-making.
The event featured two sessions tailored for each grade level, where Ms. Ronquillo administered psychological assessments to evaluate studentsโ career readiness and interests. She then helped students interpret their results and emphasized the role of self-awareness and self-efficacy in making informed career choices. The sessions also included engaging icebreaker activities to encourage participation.
This outreach not only benefited the students but also strengthened the Universityโs ties with the local community, underscoring its dedication to supporting educational and career development in the province.
