The MPSU continues to champion holistic development with its recent event titled, ‘Building Excellence from Within: Empowering Minds- Health, Empowerment, Awareness, and Life towards a Physically and Mentally Healthy University’, held today, February 19, at the Coffee and Lemon CafΓ©, Samoki, Bontoc, MP.
University President Dr. Edgar G. Cue through his representative, Atty. Denmark P. Butic, empathized that mental health is the foundation of healthy person, and that the strength of MPSU lies in the well-being of its people,
βA mentally healthy mind is the foundation of a healthy person. Let us reflect on this truth: mentally healthy employees build an excellent university. Policies and infrastructure matter, but the true strength of MPSU lies in the well-being of its people,” Dr. Cue said.
He added “When you are motivated, emotionally balanced, and physically energized, the entire institution thrives.”
The said event features Dr. Ricky B. Ducas Jr. as resource speaker with Mr. Joseph Brillantes and Mr. Lloyd Sagayo as lecturers on various topics on health and well-being.
Said event set the tone for a culture of wellness and empowerment at MPSU, reminding everyone that excellence begins from within.
