Two hundred thirty-three freshmen students from the different colleges participated in the 2-day mental health activity titled โFreshmenโs Journey: Finding Meaning and Direction,โ facilitated by the Office of Guidance and Counseling.
Through reflective activities and group discussions, students shared their thoughts on their struggles affecting their motivation in pursuing their chosen course while discovering what gives them meaning and direction on their academic journey.
This activity aimed to provide an opportunity where students could better understand themselves, recognize their needs, and realize that feeling confused, pressured, or uncertain is part of growth, not a sign of failure.
