MPSU community led by University President Dr. Edgar G. Cue, gathered for the Seeds of Service: Advanced Education Environmental and Community Legacy for Accountability and Sustainability initiative yesterday, June 14, 2026 at MPSU Bontoc campus and MPSU-Faliling Extension.
In his message, Dr. Cue emphasized the deeper meaning behind the day’s activity.
“Even the strongest tree was once just a seed that refused to give up. So, as you plant today, may you also plant seeds of hope, courage, kindness and purpose in your own lives and in the communities you will someday serve,” said Dr. Cue.
Afterwards, the program proceeded to its highlight activity- tree planting across the MPSU Bontoc campus and MPSU-Faliling Extension where students, faculty, and staff joined hands in planting seedlings, symbolizing both environmental care and nurturing of values that will grow with the community.
Said initiative forms part of MPSU’s broader vision to integrate environmental awareness into education, ensuring that sustainability becomes lasting legacy for the institution and the communities it serves.
