Mountain Province State University (MPSU) held the Pre-Internship Orientation & Psychological Testing with a strong emphasis on gender equality, guided by the theme: “Equal opportunities. Respect. Innovation. Empowering Every Intern,” this July, 20, 2026 at Multi-Purpose, Bontoc, MP.
University President Dr. Edgar G. Cue graced the event, delivering a message that resonated deeply with the interns preparing to embark on their professional journeys.
“The journey may not be always easy. There will be adjustments to make, challenges to overcome, and moments of uncertainty. But remember that every professional once experienced the same challenges when they began their own journey. May you become professionals who do not only pursue success for yourselves but also help create workplaces where respect, equality, and opportunities are experienced by everyone,” said Dr. Cue.
Said orientation and testing served as a vital preparation for interns, equipping them with both psychological readiness and a values-driven perspective. By centering on equality and empowerment, the program reaffirmed the university’s mission to shape graduates who are not only competent professionals but also advocates of fairness and innovation in their future workplaces.
