Prexy Cue leads MPSU to DTI recognition


Mountain Province State University (MPSU), through the leadership of University President Dr. Edgar G. Cue, received a prestigious recognition from the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) for its outstanding achievements, steadfast commitment, and invaluable contributions to DTI’s development programs, projects, and activities.

Awarded for the University’s contribution to the broader regional economic advancement, the recognition was conferred during the 2026 Cordillera Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Summit on July 22, 2026, at the University of the Cordilleras Theater in Baguio City.

Dr. Cue received the award together with DTI–Mountain Province Provincial Director Ms. Mabel F. Banggawan.

The recognition highlights MPSU’s growing role as a trusted partner in promoting entrepreneurship, innovation, and sustainable development across the region. Under Dr. Cue’s leadership, the University continues to strengthen its commitment to delivering quality education while actively supporting initiatives that contribute to regional economic growth, community empowerment, and inclusive development.

MPSU extends its heartfelt gratitude to the Department of Trade and Industry–Cordillera Administrative Region (DTI-CAR), headed by Regional Director Atty. Raymond G. Panhon, and to DTI–Mountain Province, headed by Provincial Director Ms. Mabel F.
