MPSU Welcomes PAGPTD and MPPPO Delegates

Mountain Province State University (MPSU) President Dr. Edgar G. Cue, represented by Chief of Staff Dr. Karen B. Cue, welcomed the Provincial Advisory Group for Police Transformation and Development (PAGPTD) of Mountain Province and the Mountain Province Police Provincial Office (MPPPO) during a courtesy call at the Office of the President on July 23, 2026.

The delegation was led by NAPOLCOM Provincial Officer and PAGPTD-MP Chairman Atty. Agosto C. Libang. Joining him were Advisory Group members Mr. Mario A. Lo, Ms. Jacqueline O. Joven, and Ms. Valerie Taguba; MPPPO representatives Pat. Christian M. Dawiguey and Pat. Jaren P. Gaddang; and MPSU Criminology interns. They were accompanied by Events Management Coordinator and fellow PAGPTD member Ms. Carolyne Dale C. Iguid.

The visit aimed to formally request the University’s permission to post informational and educational campaign materials on crime prevention throughout the MPSU campus. This initiative is part of the Community Awareness Responsibility & Education (CARE) Program, which promotes community awareness through the distribution and posting of Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) materials.

The University approved the request, and both parties discussed potential future collaborations to further strengthen community awareness and crime prevention efforts.

Following the courtesy call, the delegation proceeded to the Academe Building to distribute flyers and post the approved educational campaign materials.
