20 January 2025—–Given the critical role of the University in community extension and development, it continuously upholds its commitment to regularly review and update the institutionโs extension programs. To do so, the University, through its Research, Development, and Extension Office began the two-day workshop to streamline its extension program briefers today at the Administration Conference Hall.
This is also to ensure that the University is effectively fulfilling its mandate of contributing to societal growth through sustainable development extension initiatives.
It is likewise crucial to continuously improve the institutionโs services which are responsive to the needs of its stakeholders. This was underscored by University President Dr. Edgar G. Cue, who was represented by the Director for International Affairs and Linkages Dr. Karen B. Cue. โOur university, since its polytechnic college period, has been uplifting communities in various fields, and this collective effort that we are fostering now on ensuring that our University remains responsive to the needs of the community will truly cultivate a more educated, empowered, and resilient society,โ Dr. Cue quipped.
Attended by the Technical Working Group members, composed of extension coordinators, program chairpersons, and authors of extension programs, the said workshop will run until tomorrow, 31 January 2025.
