Prexy Cue leads MPSU to Recognition for Blood Donation Advocacy

Mountain Province State University (MPSU), through the leadership of President Dr. Edgar G. Cue, was honored during the Blood Donation Partners Awarding Ceremony and Mobile Blood Donation held today, July 24, at the GLGM Sports Complex, Bontoc, Mountain Province.

The award was presented in grateful recognition and sincere appreciation of MPSU’s invaluable partnership, unwavering support, and steadfast commitment to promoting Voluntary Non-Remunerated Blood Donation. MPSU was recognized alongside fellow awardees from various local government units, government agencies, organizations, and barangays across Mountain Province.

Accepting the recognition on behalf of the University, Dr. Cue expressed his gratitude and reaffirmed MPSU’s commitment to the life-saving advocacy of blood donation.

“Awards recognize our commitment, but every blood donation writes a story no certificate can ever tell. May this recognition inspire us to remain dedicated to the cause of voluntary blood donation and encourage more individuals to become lifesavers in their own way”, Dr. Cue said.

Also present during the event were representatives of the province’s leaders who conveyed their messages of support: Political Affairs Officer Erlindo O. Agwilang, representing Congressman Maximo Y. Dalog Jr., and Executive Assistant George B. Lumiwes, representing Governor Bonifacio C. Lacwasan Jr.

The recognition highlights the University’s continuing efforts to advance humanitarian service and strengthen community health initiatives through its active collaboration with the Philippine Red Cross.

As an institution committed to community service and social responsibility, Mountain Province State University remains steadfast in supporting the Philippine Red Cross and its blood donation program.
