MPSU-Tadian holds faculty reclassification orientation

Mountain Province State University (MPSU)-Tadian conducted an Orientation on the Enhanced Implementing Guidelines for Faculty Reclassification in State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) yesterday, July 24, 2026, at the University IPED Building.

Said activity convened university officials, college deans, Institutional Evaluation Committee (IEC) members, and faculty members to familiarize participants with the provisions, policies, procedures, and documentary requirements under DBM–CHED Joint Circular No. 1, s. 2026, which governs faculty position classification, reclassification, and promotion in SUCs.

In his message, MPSU President Dr. Edgar G. Cue, through Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Geraldine L. Madjaco, encouraged participants to actively engage in the discussions and work collectively toward the fair, transparent, and effective implementation of the enhanced faculty reclassification guidelines.

The orientation aimed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the updated implementing guidelines, including the evaluation criteria and documentation required for faculty reclassification. It also served as a venue to clarify issues, address concerns, and ensure the proper and uniform implementation of the guidelines across the University.
