MPSU Holds Induction Program for Newly Hired Faculty

The Mountain Province State University (MPSU), through the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs – Curriculum and Instruction Unit, conducted an Induction Program for Newly Hired Faculty Members with the theme, “Creating a Culture of Peace through Safe Spaces and Learning Environments,” held at the University Audio Visual Hall today, July 27, 2026.

Said activity zeroed in on strengthening the awareness of contract of service and newly hired permanent faculty members by familiarizing them with the University’s organizational culture, professionalism, and gender-sensitive teaching practices.

In his message of support, MPSU President Dr. Edgar G. Cue encouraged the participants to embody gratitude through dedicated service, emphasizing that, “True gratitude is not measured only by words; it is reflected in our actions, our attitude, and our commitment to the responsibility entrusted to us.” He also urged them to cultivate learning environments where every student feels respected, valued, and included.

The activity transcends basic orientation on policy compliance and administrative paperwork by emphasizing professional development.
