MPSU-Tadian College of Engineering Strengthens Accreditation Preparations, Advances Digital Learning Initiative


The College of Engineering of Mountain Province State University (MPSU)-Tadian, in coordination with the Institutional Quality Assurance (IQA)-Tadian, conducted a meeting to discuss matters concerning the College’s academic operations, including preparations for the upcoming Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) Level III, Phase 2 Accreditation Survey Visit.

As part of the agenda, the IQA Coordinator, Mr. Neil Comafay, facilitated the discussion on accreditation preparations, highlighting the requirements to be addressed and the next action steps to be taken, as presented in the Accreditation Timetable.

The assignment of tasks and responsibilities among the concerned personnel was facilitated by the Program Chairperson, Mr. Gremble D. Degay, leading to the establishment of a task force for accreditation purposes.

The meeting also provided an avenue for the participants to raise queries and concerns and strengthen coordination among the concerned offices and personnel in support of the successful accreditation process.

Following the conclusion of the official program, the ICT Unit conducted a brief orientation for the faculty members of the College of Engineering on the Autodesk Education Plan.

The orientation focused on the educational licensing process, the benefits of Autodesk software for teaching and learning, and the steps for inviting students to access free educational licenses. Faculty members were also guided on how to assist their students in creating Autodesk Education accounts and utilizing industry-standard engineering and design software in their academic courses.

This initiative supports the university’s commitment to digital transformation by expanding access to professional software and enhancing technology-enabled instruction.
