
BONTOC, Mountain Province — Warm bowls of champorado, sopas, and arozcaldo brought comfort and nourishment to the MPSU community as the Mountain Province State University (MPSU)-Bontoc concluded its three-day PINGGANG SAPAT: Small Cups, Big Hearts: Health Today, Hope Tomorrow initiative today, August 5, 2026, in celebration of Nutrition Month and Buwan ng Wika.
Spearheaded by the Gender and Development Unit (GAD) in coordination with the Health Services Unit (HSU), the initiative promoted healthy eating habits and environmental responsibility by providing free nutritious snacks to students and employees while encouraging the use of reusable cups and spoons.
Throughout the three-day activity, students claimed their snacks at the Gimata Bridge, while employees received theirs at the Gender and Development Unit (GAD).
More than serving healthy meals, PINGGANG SAPAT highlighted the University’s commitment to fostering a culture of wellness, shared responsibility, and sustainable practices within the campus community.
