Following the closing of the 2026 MPSU Intramurals, the community gathered once again, not as competing teams but as one university family for the Grill, Chill and Socialize: MPSU Students’ BBQ night yesterday, September 5 held at Eyeb, Bontoc, MP.
University President Dr. Edgar G. Cue through Atty. Dexter C. Lingbanan, Vice President for Internationalization, Planning and Information Management, shared a meaningful message that captures the true essence of the evening.
โBehind all the laughter, jokes, and celebration tonight, I want us to remember something important. This is what makes MPSU special. This BBQ night is a unique experience that after all the competition, we can still come together as one,โ he said.
He also underscored the belief that the strength of MPSU cannot be measured solely by its infrastructure, academic programs, achievements, awards and facilities. Rather, its greatest strength lies in the people who breathe life to the institution.
From the intensity of competition to the warmth of fellowship, the night demonstrated that while students may wear different team colors on the playing field, they remain united by one community and one shared MPSU spirit.
