Mountain Province State University (MPSU)-Tadian participated in the National Civil Engineering Summit (NCES) 2026, held at the University of the Philippines Diliman and organized by the UP Association of Civil Engineering Students (UP ACES).
During the three-day participation, MPSU-Tadian civil engineering students engaged in various activities, including the ImmerCE Laboratory Tour, Civil Engineering Symposium, and National Civil Engineering Quiz.
The laboratory tour provided the students with an opportunity to gain exposure to engineering laboratory facilities and practices beyond the classroom. The symposium further enriched their knowledge through discussions on relevant topics and developments in the civil engineering profession, while the quiz competition challenged them to apply their technical knowledge, analytical skills, and understanding of civil engineering concepts.
The three-day experience provided the students with meaningful opportunities to learn, interact with fellow civil engineering students from different institutions, and gain a broader perspective of the profession. It also complemented their academic learning by exposing them to practical and professional experiences within the wider civil engineering community.
Through participation in activities such as the National Civil Engineering Summit, MPSU-Tadian continues to provide opportunities that foster experiential learning, technical competence, professional growth, and camaraderie among its students.
