πππππππππππππ πππππππππππ |A group from the Planet Gold Philippines paid a courtesy visit to University President Dr. Edgar G. Cue at the Office of the President today, January 31, 2025.
They were Ms. Abigail Ocate, National Project Manager of the Planet Gold Philippines; Ms. Elizabeth Ngo; and Ms. Mildred Arucan.
The purpose of their visit is to personally invite Dr. Cue for the Turnover Ceremony of the completed Mercury-free Processing System (MFPS) in Brgy. Fidelisan, Sagada, Mountain Province, which is slated on Monday, February 3, 2025.
Said MFPS is a project through the initiative of the Planet Gold Philippines that aims to promote environmentally sound mining practices by introducing and transferring mercury-free technologies and techniques to artisanal and small-scale gold mining (ASGM) communities.
Accompanying the visitors were Director for Extension Services Unit Dr. Joy Fraine Ngodcho and RDE staff Ms. Laire Ligligen.#
