Mountain Province State University (MPSU), under the leadership of University President Dr. Edgar G. Cue, welcomed Commission on Population and DevelopmentโCordillera Administrative Region (CPD-CAR) Regional Director Reynaldo O. Wong, accompanied by Provincial Government Assistant Department Head Eunice G. Andaya and staff of the Provincial Population Development Office, during his courtesy visit to the Office of the University President yesterday, October 7, 2026.
Said visit served as an avenue to further strengthen the partnership between MPSU and CPD-CAR, particularly in advancing initiatives that provide meaningful opportunities for learning, capacity-building, research, advocacy, and community engagement.
Following the discussions, MPSU and CPD-CAR formalized their partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA), establishing a framework for sustained collaboration and opening opportunities for joint undertakings in areas of mutual interest.
The partnership strengthens both institutionsโ commitment to advancing population and development initiatives.
