The Philippine Association of Extension Program Implementors, Inc. (PAEPI) National Officers and speakers of the Capability Building on Extension Management and Impact Assessment, held on October 15β17, 2026, immersed themselves in a meaningful learning experience at the Victor S. Dominguez Research, Extension and Development (VSDRED) Center of Mountain Province State University (MPSU) Ba-ang, Banao on October 17, 2026.
The delegates included Dr. Redentor A. Janaban, PAEPI Treasurer; Dr. Lorenzo B. Isla, PAEPI Board of Directors Chair; and Dr. Hermogenes Paguia, PAEPI President. During the visit, they explored the universityβs Arabica coffee production areas and facilities, gaining insights into the universityβs coffee production practices and its seed-to-cup journey.
The learning tour was facilitated by the Ba-ang Campus Staff together with the Extension Services and Community Engagement (ESCE) Office, who shared their knowledge and experiences in coffee production and extension initiatives.
This engagement underscores MPSUβs commitment to strengthening extension management, Reduction of Inequalities, Gender and Development, Promoting experiential learning, and fostering collaboration with professional organizations. Through knowledge sharing and the exchange of best practices, the university continues to build meaningful partnerships that contribute to sustainable community development.
