To capture, process, and disseminate visually engaging knowledge products that are suitable for different audiences, Research and Extension coordinators and workers are undergoing a three-day training workshop on knowledge product development at the Administration Conference Hall.
As an institution that pursues quality academic, research, and extension services, said activity is crucial in translating knowledge into accessible, actionable, and impactful products that can significantly influence communities, policymaking, and future research directions.
To ensure that the outputs are tailored to the needs of the target audiences, the training workshop covers key principles of effective communication including audience analysis, message framing, and design techniques.
In addition, University President Dr. Edgar G. Cue represented by Bontoc campus Director Dr. Arel B. Sia-ed stressed the importance of the activity in showcasing the University’s research and extension initiatives.
Dr. Obie Noe B. Madalang is currently presenting the training modules for an extension. Mr. Philip L. Balagtey will be mentoring the participants on how to design visually engaging extension products this afternoon.#
