MPSU and GRM Host Webinar on ASEAN Integration and Reskilling


Mountain Province State University, in partnership with Global Reskilling Movement (GRM) conducted a webinar themed “Navigating Cross-Cultural Professional Excellence in ASEAN Integration-Reskilling Opportunity” on February 18, 2025 at the University Board Room.

The webinar offered valuable insights into how individuals and organizations can enhance their professional growth and success within the ASEAN framework. Mr. C.D. Lee, ReSkills EdTEch Partnership Manager, served as the speaker during the event.

Students and faculty from the School of Healthcare Education (SHE) and School of International Hospitality and Sustainable Tourism Management (SIHSTM) attended the webinar onsite while the other participants also joined through the Zoom platform.

MPSU President, Dr. Edgar G. Cue, represented by the Bontoc Campus Director, Dr. Arel B. Sia-ed, stated in his message that activities such as this is a good avenue for the skills of the students to be more harnessed.

This webinar aims to equip the participants with the essential skills to thrive in an increasingly globalized and interconnected workforce. The ultimate goal is to prepare the attendees to become more adaptable, culturally competent, and capable of excelling in multicultural settings, thereby addressing the growing skills gap in the global job market.

Furthermore, the session was also an avenue to further discuss the importance of joining the programs being offered by GRM. Taking part in this kind of opportunities can prepare the students for the challenges and opportunities ahead.
