The Universityโ€™s Civil Engineering program was subjected to an online inspection and monitoring by the Professional Regulation Commission-Cordillera Administrative Region (PRC-CAR) and the Professional Regulatory Board of Civil Engineering (PRB-CE) today at the Tadian campus.

The inspection and monitoring were conducted to ensure that the Universityโ€™s BS in Civil Engineering program upholds the highest standards of education, professional development, and commitment within the field of Civil Engineering.

During the inspection proper, audio-visual presentations of submitted documents by the University were presented to the inspection team. This was followed by a Question & Answer session.

After the deliberations of the inspection team, the following recommendations were made: (1) compliance with CHED requirements; (2) alignment of the specialization of faculty members handling professional courses to the Career Progression and Specialization Program of PRC; (3) submission of the syllabi for the professional common and specialized courses; (4); provision of a simple laboratory set-up for the students to understand basic structural theories; and (5) improvement of the performance in the Civil Engineering Licensure Examination.

The inspection was attended by University President Dr. Edgar G. Cue represented by VPAA Dr. Geraldine L. Madjaco, IQA Director Dr. Christie Lynne C. Codod, IQA Campus Coordinator Mr. Alken D. Calisen, Dean for School of Engineering Engr. Rogie P. Lantion, Associate Dean for SOE Engr. Jenny W. Tumbaga, Program Chair for SOE Engr. Rollie C. Mejia and SOE faculty members.#
