MPSU personnel and staff attended the traditional flag-raising ceremony at the administration lobby earlier today, hosted by the School of Teacher Education (STE).
Prior to several announcements, STE Faculty Mr. Jason F. Paleg rendered an inspiring biblical message derived from Romans 12:14. He highlighted the verse, โBless instead of curse,โ and there are three reasons he mentioned why we must bless: 1. We must bless because God called us to reflect God; 2. We must bless because God has shown us mercy; and 3. We must bless because it brings us peace and unity.
Following this, the Director for Human Resource Management Office, Ms. Zenaida Y. Soliven, reminded the submission of the Citizenโs Charter and Statement of Assets, Liabilities, and Networks (SALN). She also introduced those who are newly appointed and promoted personnel and staff.
Representing also the Director for Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) unit, Dr. Christy Lynne Codod, IQA officer, Ms. Collins Lidua expressed her gratitude to those who worked behind the recently concluded AACCUP accreditation of MPA, BSN, BSOA, and BSCrim last week, March 12-14.
For the final words, MPSU President Dr. Edgar G. Cue announced that forms for the Tulong Dunong Program (TDP) Scholarship were still available at the Office of the President for students who have not yet availed themselves of the program.
Furthermore, he asked for the full support of everybody for the upcoming CARASUC Athletic Meet and Cultural Festival 2025. โThis week and next week will be busy weeks for all of us. We adopted the blended form of teaching to give time for our athletes to give their best in the last week of their practice and also to our coaches. So, I need your support, your participation, and your cooperation daytoy last week of preparation. Next week, please attend, please participate, and please watch the different games,โ said Cue.
Pres. Cue also thanked the National Irrigation Administration (NIA) for starting the installation of solar water pumps on the different campuses of the college. Likewise, he also expressed gratitude to Atty. Cyphrine Maxcel D. Duclan for her courtesy in establishing the drinking water fountain, which will hopefully be installed in time for use during the CARASUC Meet.
