Vigan City, Ilocos Sur- The University attended the 2025 Mathโ€“Science Quiz Bowl and Turnover Ceremony, held from April 2 to 4, 2025, at the University of Northern Philippines. The event, centered around the theme “Innovation in Action: Shaping Tomorrow with Science, Mathematics, and Technology,” gathered scholars and experts from across the country to celebrate excellence and foster collaboration in the fields of science, mathematics, and technology.

As a committed member of the Philippine Consortium for Science, Mathematics, and Technology, Inc. (PCSMT), MPSU sent a dedicated team of student delegates and coaches to compete in multiple academic categories. This annual event serves as a platform for showcasing the intellectual prowess of students while strengthening ties between educational institutions.

The MPSU delegation was supervised by Dr. Arel B. Sia-ed, the PCSMT Coordinator for MPSU, who guided the students through the preparation and competition phases.

The Philippine Consortium for Science, Mathematics, and Technology, Inc. (PCSMT), founded on September 17, 1982, is a well-established network of state universities and colleges across the Philippines. Its mission is to promote excellence in education, research, and innovation in the sciences, mathematics, and technology.
