MPSU, LTO, and LGU-Bauko Conduct Traffic Education for Drivers in Bauko

The Mountain Province State University (MPSU), through the School of Criminal Justice Education and Liberal Arts (SCJELA), in collaboration with the Land Transportation Office (LTO) and the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Bauko, conducts an activity titled “Retooling Drivers with Continuing Traffic Education toward Road Safety” held at Karatula, Sadsadan, Bauko, Mountain Province, on April 30, 2025.

Participated in by Bauko drivers and new applicants for a driver’s license, this activity aims to refresh and strengthen drivers’ adherence to road safety standards and responsible driving practices by enhancing their knowledge of traffic laws, road regulations, and safe driving protocols.

In an inspirational message of MPSU President Dr. Edgar G. Cue delivered by SCJELA Faculty Dr. Edgar B. Mapangdol, he underscored the significance of updating and reminding them regarding traffic regulations. “It is true that accidents are mostly unintentional, but we have to remember that we have families that worry and care for us whenever we are on the road. Thus, take learning opportunities and trainings like this that could retool and refresh your skills and that could keep you reminded to be safety-conscious drivers,” said Cue.#
