This initiative aimed to enhance the student’s knowledge regarding mental health.

MPSU President Dr. Edgar G. Cue graced the event by expressing his gratitude towards the unending support and partnership between the University and the Local Government Unit. He also emphasized that the future lies on the youth today and that they should be armed with tools, courage, and the support needed to grow and build themselves as healthy leaders and mindful individuals. Dr. Cue then invited not just the students but also the faculty and staff to visit the Happiness Center that will be opening soon on the 3rd floor of the Administration Building.

Further, Ms. Claire Agyapas from the University and Mr. Ernesto Bondad from the PGO discussed mental health and how to cope with such. Also, group activities were introduced for the students.

Joining the event were Hon. Bonifacio C. Lacwasan, represented by Atty. Dexter C. Lingbanan, Chief Administrative Officer; Ms. Jennifer Ruth C. Tuazon, Dean of SSDO; Mr. Jayson F. Paleg, STE faculty; students; staff; and personnel from the PGO.
