BCS Covered Court—Graduands from the University’s Bontoc campus attended the Baccalaureate Mass today, 02 June 2025.

Said event sent off 951 graduands from the School of Advanced Education, School of Criminal Justice Education and Liberal Arts, School of Teacher Education, School of Healthcare Education, School of International Hospitality and Sustainable Tourism Management, and School of Accountancy, Business Education and Technology.

The mass was graced by the Cordillera Highlands Baptist Church & Mission, Inc.

Dr. Rexton F. Chakas, the officiating pastor shared three principles based from this year’s Commencement Exercises theme to the graduands: the power of strong foundation (rooted deep), called to more than just success (rising high sustainably) and trusting the God who goes ahead of you (faith for the future).

A candle lighting was also held symbolizing the passing of knowledge, wisdom, and light from the University, along with the realization of its Vision, Mission, Goals and Thrusts to the graduating students.

The Baccalaureate Mass serves as the final stop before the commencement exercises, with the Bontoc campus having theirs a day prior to the graduation ceremony.
