A total of 166 graduates celebrated a significant achievement today as they received their diplomas during the 33rd Commencement Exercises held at the Tadian campus.
Bearing the theme โMPSU at the Summit: Rooted Globally, Rising Sustainably,โ this graduating class represents the final batch of students for the academic year, following ceremonies held at the Paracelis and Bontoc campuses on May 29 and June 3โ4, respectively. The graduates are also the first to complete their degrees under MPSUโs new status as a university.
Atty. Septon A. dela Cruz, CESO III, Regional Director of the Commission on Higher Education โ Cordillera Administrative Region (CHED-CAR) and a member of the MPSU Board of Regents, graced the occasion as the Guest of Honor and Speaker.
In his speech, Atty. Dela Cruz emphasized six key characteristics of a quality graduate: intellect, adaptability, knowledge, organizational ability, strong communication, interpersonal skills, and confidence.
โWherever life leads you after todayโwhether you become educators shaping minds, engineers building futures, farmers nurturing the land, entrepreneurs solving problems, or public servants guiding communitiesโyou carry with you a responsibility. That responsibility is to honor your roots, uphold your values, and rise not just for yourself, but for others,โ he told the graduates.
Dr. Edgar G. Cue, University President, also addressed the graduating class, reminding them that commencement is not just a ceremony of receiving diplomas but a transition into becoming who they are truly meant to be.
โWield your education as an instrument for transformation,โ Dr. Cue encouraged the graduates.
Congratulations, pioneer graduates! Congratulations, MPSU Class of 2025!
