June 28, 2025βThe Mountain Province State University (MPSU), through the School of Accountancy, Business Education, and Technology (SABT), honored MPSUβs new Certified Public Accountants through a testimonial dinner at Coffee and Lemon Function Hall, JBA Bldg., Samoki.
Recently, nine (9) alumni of MPSU-BSA successfully passed the Licensure Examination for Certified Public Accountants, which was held last May 25-27, 2025, in Baguio City. They were Ms. Gima B. Canayon, Ms. Shantal Keith F. Challiis, Ms. Alpha O. Chopap-ing, Ms. Alona S. Coliaen, Ms. Kharyl P. Dawu, Ms. Marissa D. Enumneng, Ms. Yobeliza C. Kannisi, Ms. Mursha D. Matias, and Ms. Mayer A. Taguindodo.
University President Dr. Edgar G. Cue, represented by Bontoc Campus Executive Director Dr. Arel B. Sia-ed, congratulated the new CPAs and inspired the accountancy students in his message. βBecoming a CPA is no easy feat, and acquiring this title means consuming yourself with sleepless nights and all the pressure for your review. But you never chose to give up. With all your unshakable courage to go on, you truly deserve our big, fat, and juicy CONGRATULATIONS! ,β said Dr. Cue.
βTo our accountancy students here, I want you all to look at your seniors, look up to them, and be inspired! I also believe in you. Kung kaya nila, baβt kayo hindi? Naniniwala ako na kaya niyo rin! You have us, your faculty, your family, and your friends believing in you like we all believed in these 9 new CPAs,β he added.
