Earlier today, MPSU President Dr. Edgar G. Cue warmed the universityโ€™s flag-raising ceremony with good news in line at the Administration Lobby.

The highlights of his announcements include the collaborations he brought home from his participation at the British Columbia International Education Week (BCIEW) and institutional meetings and visits at Alberta, Vancouver, and Whistler, Canada. Said partnerships involve student and faculty exchange and other employment opportunities for MPSU students at institutions in Canada.

Further, Dr. Cue also announced the result of their just concluded PASUC Convention at Pasay City. This is the approval for the Reclassified Organizational Structure and Staffing (ROSS) Phase II, which is particularly for research, extension, and auxiliary positions.

Another piece of news from the president is the final processing for the release of the Higher Education Development Fund (HEDF) for the Engineering Programs at Tadian Campus.

Lastly, he thanked the collective efforts of the MPSU body for the universityโ€™s rise to rank in the global impact ranking, marking its spot on the map as 241st in the World University Impact Ranking (WURI) and other spots in other WURI categories.

Other important announcements include the following:

Office of the Presidentโ€”Legal Officeโ€”Executive Assistance Atty. Dublin Okoren-Facullo informed approval of the budget for the special project in partnership with the Department of Agriculture-Agricultural Credit Policy Council and MPSU Institutional Capability Building Activities and is gearing up for the projectโ€™s implementation.

Sports and Recreation Officeโ€”SR Director Ms. Venus Naida Bawiyan turned over the twenty (20) footballsdonated by the AFRA Organization through Mr. Bruckner Aswigue, Program Chair of BSIT.

Office of Human Resource Management and Resourcesโ€”HRMO Director Atty. Evelyn Marrero presented and introduced the newly hired contract of service under the academic and administration units.
