
University Auditorium, Bontoc campus— The General Student Orientation, a semestral event for the students to be familiarized with the VMGT, goals and processes of the University started today, 21 July 2025, beginning with students from the Bachelor of Science in Criminology and Bachelor of Arts in Political Science programs.
A total of 419 freshmen and transferees from the two programs participated in the opening day. The orientation aims to familiarize new students with the University’s Vision, Mission, Goals, and Thrusts (VMGT), as well as key processes, services, and institutional expectations. University officials were also introduced during the session.
In his message, University President Dr. Edgar G. Cue emphasized the importance of choosing academic paths with genuine passion and purpose.
“I really do hope you personally chose these courses because you wanted these courses, and your hearts really beat for these courses,” he said.
Meanwhile, the School of Teacher Education will hold their general student orientation tomorrow, 22 July 2025.
Said general student orientation will run until 26 July 2025.#.
