The Liberal Arts (LA) Department jumpstarted the semester with a departmental orientation to the Bachelor of Arts in Political Science (BAPS) held at the Multipurpose Hall today, July 29, 2025.
University President Edgar G. Cue also marks his presence with a motivational message showcasing his steadfast support for the course chosen by the BAPS students.
โThis field will teach you to analyze critically, advocate effectively, and lead with integrity whether your path leads you to policymaking, international diplomacy, or governance,โ he said.
The key agenda of the activity focused on student sharing during their travel in Thailand for the Youth Development Program, the introduction and presentation of the Global Reskills Movements by GRM student ambassadors, and an inspirational talk from BAPS Senior Faculty Dr. Rexton F. Chakas.
Further, other parts of the program include the introduction of the political science curriculum, a review of the department CBL, a mental health awareness talk, information from the scholarship and grants office, and the introduction of the new logo and uniform and the LA department faculty members.
