
Students enrolled in the National Service Training Program (NSTP) and PATHFit 1 Batch 2 at the Bontoc Campus were officially welcomed and oriented on academic policies and course expectations during simultaneous sessions held today, 02 August 2025.
The orientation sessions, conducted separately for the Reserved Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) and Civic Welfare Training Service (CWTS) components, aimed to familiarize students with key academic guidelines and course structures for the semester. ROTC students gathered in the morning at the Multi-Purpose Building, while CWTS students convened in the afternoon at the University Auditorium.
PATHFit 1 Batch 2 students also participated in a dedicated orientation where they were introduced to their instructors and given an overview of the course.
Representing University President Dr. Edgar G. Cue, Bontoc Campus Director Dr. Arel B. Sia-ed encouraged the students to do their best in their choice of courses.
“What matters is that you give your best, learn with an open mind, and serve with a sincere heart,” she added.
Meanwhile, a monetary donation was given to Mr. Mario Manilan who was represented by Ms. Khalim Fay M. Pangod. The proceed was from the NSTP concert for a cause held this February 2025.#
