University President Dr. Edgar G. Cue attended the turnover ceremony of the new director of 1403CDC today, September 17, 2025, at H1403rd(MP)CDC, Poblacion Bontoc, Mountain Province.
The outgoing director, MAJ Blas G. Alsiyao (INF) PA, officially turned over the responsibility and the unit symbol to the new director of 1403CDC, LTC Vincent A. Lauigan (AGS) PA.
The event was attended by RESCOM key officials, organic personnel, enlisted reservists, and advanced ROTC cadets of MPSU.
In his message, LTC Lauigan, the new director, expressed his gratitude and committed to continuing the unit’s mission in support of community and regional security.
The presence of Dr. Cue highlights the ongoing collaboration between the university and the military in promoting community development and safety.
