A fine dining experience for the students of Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management (BSHM), Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management (BSTM), and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) was held on October 25, 2025, at Coffee and Lemon Cafรฉ in Samoki, Bontoc, Mountain Province.
University President Dr. Edgar G. Cue represented by the Dean for the College of International Hospitality and Sustainable Tourism Management, Dr. Karen B. Cue delivered an inspiring message highlighting the significance of fine dining.
โFine dining may seem to be all about table settings, proper posture, or knowing which fork to use. But when we look closer, we find that it teaches something far deeper, grace, respect, and our shared humanity. We share stories, laughter, and understanding. We learn to listen with openness, to speak with kindness, and to appreciate the beauty of every personโs presence.”, he said.
Moreover, Dr. Cue also challenged the students. โSo, students, carry yourselves with dignity, to live with mindfulness and gratitude, and to communicate with kindness and sincerity.โ, he added.
A part of a series of activities, the said fine dining event served as both an educational and social enrichment event. Through activities like this, MPSU continues to uphold its commitment to producing competent, well-rounded, and values-driven students who embody both knowledge and refinement.#
