MPSPC holds 2024 AIHR; 14 research studies qualify for regional symposium



Fourteen out of thirty-three research studies of MPSPC researchers qualified for the regionals after the meticulous 2024 MPSPC Agency In-House Review held last August 1, 2024. The qualifiers will be competing at the Regional Symposium on RDE Highlights on October 14-17, 2024 at Benguet State University.

Among the 33 presented researches, four (4) on AANR & IEET were evaluated by Dr. Janet P. Pablo and Dr. Kenneth A. Laruan. Among the four, two qualified for the regionals. The study of Joyce D. Cuyangaon titled “Potential of Golden Apple Snail (Pomacea canaliculate) Meat in Sausage” won First Best Paper and Dr. Cuyangaon was also recognized as Best Presenter in the said category. Also for IEET, the study of Ms. Jenny Tumbaga et.al titled “Landslide Susceptibility Mapping in Tadian, Mountain Province ” won Second Best Paper.

Ten (10) research studies on Education were assessed by Dr. Janet Lynn M. Balagtey and Dr. Apler J. Bansiong. For the Education category, three studies won the Best Paper awards and three were qualified for poster presentation.

Lastly, nineteen (19) research studies under the Social Sciences category were reviewed by Dr. Stanley F. Anongos, Jr., Dr. Tecah C. Sagandoy, and Dr. Ruth S. Batani. Three studies won the Best Paper awards and three were qualified for poster presentation.

Flordeliza A. Cruz was recognized as the Best Presenter.

The event concluded with a positive outlook for the future, as the feedback from the review is expected to drive significant improvements and further enhance the college’s research outputs and ensure that its research endeavors are not only relevant but also of high quality, positioning them for further recognition and impact on a broader scale.
