Student achievers recognized in first “En Ichos Taku” ceremony


Celebrating students’ successes is an exceptional way of recognizing the determination and effort they invested toward achieving their milestones. Today, June 13, 2024, the student achievers of the Mountain Province State Polytechnic College-Bontoc campus received their plaques of recognition through the “En Ichos Taku” (getting together) ceremony held at the Eyeb Covered Gym.

The said event, dubbed, “En Ichos Taku”: Celebrating Shared Success, Uniting Diverse Voices conferred special awards to student achievers for excelling in various areas. The awards include: Editor-in-Chief of the Year, Chorale Musician Award, Male Chorister of the Year, Female Chorister of the Year, Contemporary Folk Artistry Award, Outstanding Twirler Award, Artist of the Year, Dance Leadership Excellence Award, Performing Arts Award, Athletic Award, Department Best Intern Award, Student Leadership Award and Outstanding Leadership Award.

PSSG Charlie David B. Taynan served as the Guest of Speaker for the event. He was an exemplary alumnus of the College and an awarded serviceman in the police force.
