CELEBRATING PRIDE MONTH THROUGH EMBRACING DIVERSITY

The painting of the MPSPC Diversity Stairs serves as a symbol of MPSPC’s commitment to creating a safe and supportive spaces for everyone. The activity is a kick-start to commemorate the series of activities and initiatives in line with the institution’s celebration of Pride Month 2024. Student leaders, ROTC officers and members, members of the LGBT students and employees participated the painting of the Diversity stairs on June 1-2, 2024 at the MPSPC Bontoc campus’ gates 1 and 2.

Every color on the stairs stands for a distinct facet of our diversity, such as gender, race, religion, tribe, culture and mental health, among others. This represents the College’ dedication to promoting inclusivity and equality for all persons and groups within the province. Along with opposition to violence and discrimination, the diversity stairs also stand for identification, solidarity, and collectivity.
