Executive Council Convenes for Semester-End Preparations

The Bontoc Campus Director, Dr. Arel B. Sia-ed, convened the Executive Council on December 9, 2024, to address important issues concerning the Academic Sector as the first semester approaches its conclusion. The committee reviewed the final course offerings in preparation for enrollment, which begins on December 16, 2024.

Key agenda items included the submission of the CQI-Syllabus Report, the Individual Performance Commitment and Review (IPCR), the submission of grades, and the enrollment schedule for the Second Semester of 2024-2025. Dr. Sia-ed expressed heartfelt appreciation for the team’s dedication and commitment. She encouraged everyone to reflect on any lapses that may have occurred and to strive for improvement as public servants in the upcoming semesters.

As the saying goes, “The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step,” reminding us that each effort counts towards making a meaningful impact. Dr. Sia-ed quoted in her weekly reminders to the council, Colossians 3:23-24: “Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward.” This serves as a reminder that our work is not just a duty but also a calling to serve our community with excellence.
