MPSPC joins other SUCs in Panaglabbet 2024; kick-offs CARASUC 2024


April 29, 2024. The Mountain Province State Polytechnic College team and coaches headed by the College President Dr. Edgar G. Cue alongside the six other participating SUCs for the 2024 Cordillera Administrative Region Association of State Universities and Colleges (CARASUC) Athletic Meet were welcomed (panaglabbet) and serenaded by the host College, Apayao State College today at the EKB Gymnasium in San Isidro, Luna, Apayao.

Apayao Congresswoman Hon. Eleanor C. Bulot-Begtang, Provincial Governor Hon. Elias C. Bulut, Jr., Vice Governor Hon. Remy N. Albano, Luna Municipal Mayor Hon. Josephine M. Bangsiw, Pudtol Municipal Mayor Hon. Hector Reuel D. Pascua, various local government officials and Apayao State College led by President Dr. John N. Cabansag spearheaded the welcome program.

This activity served as the kick-off of the five-day CARASUC Athletic Meet from April 29 to May 3, 2024. The other participating SUCs include Abra State of Institute of Sciences and Technology (ASIST), Benguet State University (BSU), Kalinga State University (KSU), University of the Philippines Baguio (UPB), Apayao State College (ASC) and Ifugao State University (IFSU).

This is the second time the province of Apayao and Apayao State College hosted the CARASUC since 2014.
