84 student nurses equipped in managing Mass Casualty Incidents

84 student nurses of the Mountain Province State Polytechnic College (MPSPC) convened for a training titled “Mass Casualty Management,” organized by the Nursing Department at the Coffee and Lemon Café, Samoki, Bontoc, today, February 26.

The training aimed to educate the student nurses with the necessary knowledge and basic skills to respond to certain health emergencies since they will be engaged in clinical and community settings.

Dr. Edgar G. Cue, College President, delivered a message and highlighted the significance of the training as it is aligned with Republic Act 10871 mandating every education institution to provide life support training to its students.

Said initiative reflects MPSPC’s commitment to deliver inclusive education to the students, ensuring that they possess essential knowledge before navigating to a larger community for practical learning.
